Ramblings of a Patriot
The violent mindset of some Palestinians is such a tragedy. And they wonder why foreign aid has been cut, and why the international community does not side with them. Recent events just show the world yet again that some Palestinians can't even get along with their own brothers, and resort to execution style murders. And 3 of them were children on their way to school! If they can't even get along with each other, how on earth will they ever get along with Israel?? There is now talk about a possibility of civil war between Fatah and Hamas. This just seems ridiculous to me. Peace appears to be SOOOOOO far away in this region of the world. (sigh)

you have made some very good posts.
I think the biggest thing missing in the peace process is no one ever stands in the middle, they pick a side.
thanks leeann. yes, i agree completely. each side seems to be paranoid, and is reluctant about any outside party being truely impartial to try and achieve peace and stability. a very sad situation with a bleak outlook.
... thank you for such an uplifting post. let's all scorn the palestinians for all their blatant imperfections.

with all due respect, "imperfections" i could live with. it is the mindset of SOME palestinians (as is stated in my post...not all) that resort to violence for every dis-agreement. it is these few that ruin the chance for peace for all in my opinion. violence against anyone and everyone who does not view things the way they do. you of all people should be able to recognize this. it was your post about the killing of palestinian children by the israeli's a few weeks ago, so why aren't you just as outraged now?? innocent poeple are DYING, it should not matter who pulled the trigger.

you know what's sad? i was just going to look up that piece of news in BBC, and i typed in 'palestinian children' and i got about 20 reports about 20 different incidents where children were killed lately. well you said it best: "This just seems ridiculous to me.
